Chair Renter payments
This works best for co-working spaces that have a fixed chair rental agreement where the Chair Renter pays £X per month.
Slick sends 100% of earnings for a chair renter to their bank account including any tips taken.
The advantage is that payment for ALL staff can be taken via 1 card machine.
It even works for clients seeing 2 or more staff for 1 appointment…
Let’s say a client comes in for a Colour and a Cut. When the client taps their card, the bill will automatically be divided up like this:
Colour payment - goes direct to Colour specialists bank account
Cut payment - goes direct to Cut specialists bank account
And if the client happens to purchase a retail product, that payment can go direct to the business bank account!
Split Commission /Revenue share
This works best for co-working spaces that operate on a revenue share model where the stylist/barber keeps X% of their earnings and the co-working space keeps Y% for payment of rent, rates, utilities etc.
As the co-working space owner, you can pre-set the % split in Slick per staff member.
For example you might take 60% of revenues and the Self Employed stylist gets 40%
You can even set different % per service category and retail
For example:
1st Self Employed Stylist gets 40% of all colour revenue and 50% of all cutting revenue.
2nd Self Employed Stylist gets 50% of all colour revenue and 50% of all cutting revenue.
So, when the client taps, Slick sends the correct % of earnings to the Self employed stylists bank account including any tips taken. The balance will be sent to the main business bank account
Again, payment for ALL staff can be taken via 1 card machine. And again it even works for clients seeing 2 or more service providers.
Split Commission / Revenue Share launches December 2024
Taxed on your earnings only
By ensuring the earnings are recorded and paid to the correct person, this will help ensure you only pay tax on your earnings and not the earnings of Self Employed which means your tax bill could be reduced
Slick revenue reporting will show the monies that were paid into your bank account via SlickPay. The reporting will show the monies paid into the Self Employed's bank account.
Can I control access to reporting?
Yes!
You can use the PIN code system to allow Self Employed to see ONLY their takings and their key numbers such as bookings, rebooking rate, revenue and more.
These numbers are separated from your business numbers and Self Employed can see neither your numbers of the numbers of other people.
