Routed Creative was started in 2020 by leading UK colourist Verity Ollerenshaw.

As she set up her stunning Leeds studio, Verity was looking for a partner that could help her take the client experience to the next level.

“I had a really clear vision on the salon interior, the decor, the coffee i wanted to serve and the brand! However, I knew I needed the digital experience to match this. I have a full client list but it’s so important to me to make their experience as great as possible! Simple things like a text reminder before a client’s appointment is really important - it’s what they expect nowadays.”

"I chose to switch to Slick because it seemed really intuitive, simple and easy to use. The calendar looks great, the colours are very clear, and everything is easy to see.

I decided to use lockdown to ditch the diary and get a computer system and I just wish I had done it years ago. The control and management that it offers makes my life so much easier. I can go home, eat, watch Netflix and then glance at my phone to know exactly what you have in the salon the next day. We laugh now at how we managed to survive with a paper diary.”

"Education is key for hairdressers so they give each salon free 1-2-1 training which means I'm never alone, I have a whole family supporting me. It's so refreshing!

I also love that I can use Slick on the go! It’s super easy for me to use meaning I don’t get behind on clients as I don’t need a desk top to work! Also I love being with Slick as it’s such a up and coming brand and partnered with L’Oréal means it’s going to reach achievement after achievement with a massive brand backing them! The other thing I love about Slick is that if there is ever a problem, the support team are only a click away and there is always someone available to help which saves so much time. It’s like getting your free business coach.”
